When the unclaimed property page appears, you can review whether your company is the potential owner of these unclaimed funds. Pay attention to the street address shown. Does it match your present or previous location? The reporting business name will usually be shown as well as the state where the funds are being held.
TIPS: When more than 20 listings appear, choose to show 80 results at a time. Review each listing on all pages as they are not always grouped together. Some listings may show a previous company name or address so take note of that. If your business can be searched under multiple names, i.e. XYZ Company, XYZ Corporation, etc. Take the time to do it. Has your business been located in another city or state? Has your company purchased or have been purchased by any other entities? It is best to search all relevant company names for best results.

Be sure to identify the claimant relationship for each property before filing your claim. After graduating from Robert Morris University with a degree in Sports Management, I had the privilege of working in the front offices of Minor League baseball teams for 12 years with my last stop as General Manager of the Chicago Cubs single A franchise in Rockford, IL. When I learned that the Cubs were selling the team and I would not be moving into a plush Wrigley Field office, I was able to transition into a 7.5 year career with the Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce where I was able to recruit 1,538 area businesses into becoiming members of that organization. Next up was a 20-year career in the Chamber of Commerce publishing industry working with organizations in six different states. I am now taking things at a slower pace and not missing those 90-hour work-weeks during our baseball homestands or those 50-hour work weeks while being active in a multitude of daily Chamber of Commerce activities.
